Lori, I wanted to send you a quick note and let you know how much we are enjoying having Thumper (aka Megan) in our family. She has the sweetest personality, is playful and extremely smart! Potty training is going fantastic and she is eating dry food regularly. Thank you so much for coordinating the hand-off with my sister. I'll email you a few pictures in a couple months. Best wishes to you and family. Kristi

Hi Lori, I was writing to give you an update on "Clover". We have renamed "Chipper" after Chipper Jones, our favorite baseball player. He is such a precious little puppy. He has bonded so well with Drew and I as well as with our other pets. They all get along so good especially our other dog and him. They seem to be best buddies. He has done wonderful with his house training. I think having our other dog for him to follow has really helped him learn faster. He goes to our vet this Wednesday for his check up and next round of shots. I will ask about the heart worm/flea preventative pill you had mentioned when I go. Has his papers come in yet? No rush, I was just curious. I have also sent you 4 updated pics of him. Let me know if they don't come through and I'll try and resend them. Thanks again for our new little family member. We love him so very much:) Haley Murray

Hey Lori, Hope all is going well for you. Lexi is doing great; not only is she physically cute as a bug but her personality is incredible. She goes with us on many outings and just adores people. Also, she is attending Family Manners I class with Teoti Anderson and she has stolen everyone's heart. Sandy ___________________________________________________________________________________________

Hello Lori, The delivery went perfect. Wow! He is the sweetest dog ever. He seems to be adjusting well. We are very happy with him. Thanks tons! Mark _____________________________________________________________________________________________

Hi Lori, I have to say that Twinkle is bursting with personality. He rules the roost. It only took him one day. He runs around and lets us know what he wants. He is definitely spoiled. He has met all of Mykayla's friends, my best friends, and today met Grandma and Auntie ME. I love his personality, demeanor and temperament. We could not have imagined a better addition to our home. I love the fact that he feels like our home is his template to run around in and rule.. Thank you for the perfect addition to our family. We really did not know what our home was missing before Twinkle. Love Joanne, Mykayla, and Don

Hi Lori- Ladybug seems to be happy and adjusting well. She went to a picnic yesterday and was a hit. She was so well behaved and not afraid of anyone. Many commented how she defies the stereotype of her breed. My husband has fallen for her too.

Lady came to work with me today and took over my office chair! She attended a meeting and sat without a sound! She is now officially introduced to USC!

She loves her new basket. She wears a harness and she is clipped in. She just soaks it all in and makes no effort to get out. You can officially say your chihuahuas are calm enough to ride in a bike basket made for doggies (-:

Hi Lori! Thank you so much for coming by last night so we could introduce a few new family members! It was great meeting you and your sweet family also!! So far, both puppies are doing great! Lysander, who has been re-named Lucas, is bubbly and enjoying playing with all of his new friends!! He's going to need some adjusting to walking on a leash, but he's picking up the routine easily - just like you said he would! Cocoa, who is waiting on some name input from my boyfriend, has been incredibly sweet! He and Sampson are getting along great, as you can see! He has been very inquisitive, and has already joined the pack! I can't wait to have him at home with Sampson and I in a few weeks! Thanks again!! Mary

Hi Lori, it's been a little while since we've talked & I have had my baby for about one month now so I wanted to give you an update on Butterfly. I've renamed her Olive- which she answers to. I was surprised at how well she adapted to being away from her mom and brothers and sisters, her very first day she wasn't eatting very well but once I got her Artemis dry food (which is teeny tiny pieces) she was eatting very well and steadily gaining weight. She didn't cry at night or seem depressed at all. Her last vet appointment (two weeks or so ago) she weighed 1.4 lbs and she is due for another check up on July 7th. She has a very very sweet temperment; shes great around other people - the other day our neighbor Mike whom she had never met before came over and sat down on the couch and Olive came running out of my bedroom as fast as she could and stopped at his feet just wagging her tail excitedly to meet someone new. It was adorable! She has lots of small toys that she likes to run around with and occasionally she will try and run away with my shoe although it is larger than her. She sleeps in bed with me and likes to wake me up by snuggling all over my face and hair. I'm nervous about her being around other animals since she is so young and so small, she's played with a 6 month old chihuahua but the other pup kind of bullies Olive around since she is so little, so I think I may wait for her to become a little bit bigger before her next play date. I've also heard about a club in Charleston of people who own "toy/ teacup/ other small breed puppies" that get together once a month to socialize their puppies with other small dogs. I plan on doing that once Olive is fully vaccinated & a little bit bigger. Anywho, Olive is doing very well - she is very playful and loves exploring everything, she is gaining weight and growing although she is still very small and her bowel movements are becoming more and more regular looking. Attached are some cute photos and I promise to send more when she gets bigger! Thanks for everything; Olive is perfect. :) Ellen Rowe

Faerie Garden's Pixie was purchased by a young couple in NJ

Hello Lori, We wanted to email you a little update on Pixie. She is wonderful! She is truly everything we wanted to find in a puppy - she's is adorable by everyone that meets her. She loves people and being social. She's gentle and a lap puppy, but also has such a wild streak. She has really completed our little family. She's very healthy and at her last vet trip was just under 2.5 lbs at 6 months old. She seems to be staying around that weight and she's doing quite well. She is scheduled for her spaying on Oct. 11th. She had her blood tests done and everything is cleared. Hope all is well with you! We are attaching some pictures for you to enjoy of Miss Pixie! Sincerely, Kerry & Rocco

Faerie Garden's Dew was purchased by a lady in SC

Hi, I got Dew (or Dewey, as we call him!). He is exceptionally sweet and smart and we love him to bits. My husband was in an accident and Dewey has been his constant companion. Dewey will go and sit outside the door and wait for him and then follow him back to bed. When the accident first happened, Dewey was beside himself wanting to get on the bed with Adam. Adam was a little worried because he was in a lot of pain and we know that Dewey can be very "hoppy" and playful. We were a little bit apprehensive, so I sat on the side of the bed and held Dewey in my lap and told him that he could sit beside Daddy, but he had to be still and be calm. I put Dewey on the bed and he licked Adam's face and then curled up beside him and just sat for an hour or so. I think Dewey is very good for Adam, since I have to work while he's home recuperating.

Thank you for the blessing you brought into our lives with Dewey. He's a doll baby and a very special addition to our family! Best regards,

Hi Lori, I attached a picture of me with Daisy, Maggie and Diego. Daisy is fitting into the family perfectly. She and Diego are so cute and play together often. Thank you so much for a GREAT puppy, Steve and I could not be happier with her. Not only is she beautiful, she has a fun and sweet personality as well. Best wishes to you and your family. Hey Lori, these are some pictures I took of him today when he first woke up this morning and before I went to work. He likes to follow me wherever I go. He’s such a sweetie pie and he loves to be held all the time! Thanks so much, we will keep in touch!

Faerie Garden's Jonquil (or Jackson), a 7-year-old retired stud, was adopted by a family with a female chihuahua.

Lori, I wanted to drop you a line to let you know that Jackson (aka Jojo/Jonquil) is a great addition to our family. We and everyone who has met him just loves him. He's perfect with the kids and with Little One. Sometimes it's hard to believe that he is the oldest dog, because he runs laps around Little One trying to get her to play. I just wanted to let you know that Jackson is definitely a keeper. We can't imagine our home without him :) Have a great day! Lisa Ramsey

Faerie Garden's Huckleberry was adopted by a lady in Florence SC who wanted a companion

He is being neutered March 2nd. He is such a sweet wonderful little boy. He just has such a good temperament. He plays with his toys by himself at home. When our family gets together, everyone brings their dogs and all of the dogs play together. Thanks for recommending Dr. Hewitt. I've been very pleased with him and his prices are reasonable.

Faerie Garden's Starflower was adopted by Mary in Charlotte NC. His new name is Abner.

Abner is just wonderful! He has been playing with my sister's puppy and he isn't at all scared of the big dogs. He slept in the ned with me all night and didn't have an accident. My shih-tzu sleeps at the foot of the bed and doesn't cuddle. If you try to cuddle her she bites and scratches. But Abner lay right down next to me and went to sleep. My son was so excited when he saw him. He threw a ball for him and Abner went right after it and played with it and with the big dog that took it away. I just wanted to let you know how wonderful he is. We just love him. Mary

Faerie Garden's Basil was adopted by a family in Hilton Head. They needed a second chihuahua because one wasn't enough to go around. His new name is Angus.

I just wanted to send a note that Angus is doing great. He is very sweet and happy. He sleeps in the bed with us and Rex and he and Rex get along great. He also loves to snuggle and play with my Standard Poodle. Thank you for him. He has great confirmation and is around 4 lbs. He is always jumping around and is happy and a clown. Thank you. Lisa

I am sending you a couple of pictures of the puppy taken today. He slept well last night no problems and has been snuggling. Regards. Lisa

Angus has decided to climb on the sofa to the end table to have a better position to watch us eat. He can get up but needs help down. We keep a dog bed below just in case. He is wild and loves to bark at Rex when he won't play with him. He slept wrapped around my neck last night. He is very snuggly and we really love him. We named him Angus. He needed a big name. He is a wonderful addition to our family. Thank you. Lisa

He is doing better and his housebreaking is going good even with going out in the cold. It makes it easier to have his brothers and sisters with him. I bought several matching sweaters for Rex and Angus. They are adorable. I will send pictures. He loves to go with me in his bag. He is very snuggly. Lisa

Faerie Garden's Blackberry was adopted a lady in NC. His new name is Toby.

Blackberry is the smartest little pup! He has already learned to use a peepad. I tell him "Go pee-pad" and he goes right to it and uses it. We don't want to take him outside because it's cold and he's so tiny. He is very good. He sleeps in the bed with me all night. He settles down right next to me and goes to sleep. Bella(our chi) is still checking him out. She will sniff him and then watch him from a distance. But Ginger (our dachshund) wags her tail when she sees him. She mothers him and likes to cuddle with him. My family and I just love him! Thanks! Lynn

Just wanted to send you a quick note and let you know that our little man is doing fine. He is such a great little puppy. Times are very hectic around here due to the Christmas season. Promise to send photos soon. Sorry that I have not had time to take them. Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday.

Faerie Garden's Scarlet and Faerie Garden's Butterfly were adopted by a family in GA.

Hi Lori! We enjoyed meeting you as well and the babies are well on their way to being spoiled! He spent the night in my bed and slept like an angel! She slept on the new pillow bed I bought for the two of them and didn't move after I put her on it! She's still settling in, but doing much better and he is already acting like this is his home!! All-in-all, they are doing well. I think in a few days she will feel much more comfortable! I will keep you updated. She does like to wear clothes though and actually seemed to perk up when we put something on her. He just pouted and fell over like a flop! It was very funny. He is just as playful and funny as he can be and trying to play with Butterfly, but she just ignores him. They did cuddle together some and they will nap on the bed together. I will give you another update soon! Thanks again!
Susan

Hi Lori! That is so funny because today she started circling and we thought it was hilarious! She also started attacking SP and playing with him! We were thrilled! She's being very prim and proper! Such a lady~ He's all boy and does great jumping around and playing with Jake and Brandon. As I type this, Butterfly is asleep under a blanket on my lap and he is hugged up next to my leg watching Brandon act crazy. SP has been stealing socks and carried around Brooks' shoe that he can fit inside! Butterfly now follows me everywhere I go so I guess I am her person now =) At first she was scared to do anything, but we kept cuddling and she woke up happy this morning! It is very funny how they pick up a piece of food and take it to their bed to eat~ So cute! We are enjoying learning about them and helping them to feel comfortable. Waffle met them today and did very well. He was a little scared of them, actually, but behaved! Behaving is very hard for him... Just wanted you to know that today has been great for everyone! Susan

Hi Lori! Just a quick update on the doggies! They are doing great!!!! We love them so much! I see why you called her Butterfly- her little ears flutter! How cute! She still likes me best and follows me everywhere. She likes routine and is doing very well. She's is letting people hold and pet her even though she is not 100% comfortable with them yet. She lets me do anything with her. Scar is amazing! We adore him and he loves everyone except Waffle(my golden retriever)! He jumps and growls at Waffle. It's very funny to watch! Waffle just backs away and looks at me strangely. He gets into trouble frequently, but responds well to "no no" or a sound similar and stops right away. I'll send some adorable pictures soon, but just wanted to let you know how well they are doing and how spoiled they already are! Thanks again! We love them!! Susan

HI Lori! I just wanted to send you some pictures of the pups! They are quite settled now and we are doing much better with the house breaking. The kids adore them both even though Butterfly still prefers me to anyone else. I wanted to send some Christmas pics but they didn't turn out well. We had adorable Mr. and Mrs. Clause outfits for them! They have had a few play dates that went well. We had 6 13 year old girls over right before Christmas and they did so well! All and all, it is going great!! We love them!! Happy New Year! Susan

Faerie Garden's Honeyed Heather "Heather" was adopted by a couple in Columbia as a companion for their little chi "Sugar"

Hi Lori,
I got your message just now, but was afraid to call you back this late. Heather is doing really well! We've been so proud of her! She has done great with her house training and has not had an accident yet!
Sugar and Heather have pretty much kept to themselves, so we haven't had any altercations yet. I have been remarkably surprised at how accepting Sugar has been. They have even been sleeping in the bed at night together! I think after some time, they will be the best of friends! :)
Thank you again for checking in, and I will send you some pics as soon as I upload them to my computer!
Take Care,
Katie

Hi Lori,
I just looked at all of the pictures. They are all very cute! :) Heather was a little butterball when she was born! I have taken some pics of Heather and Sugar, but my camera died so I haven't been able to upload them. I hope to be able to email you some pics this week. Thanks again for your help.

Kay and Dan in SC adopted Faerie Garden's Chestnut, a 5 month old puppy.

Chestnut is amazing! When we brought him home, the family had come over to see the new puppy. He was calm and friendly with everyone not scared at all. He walked from room to room exploring the house. It was just amazing. He acted as if he had always lived here. He slept in bed with us all night. I woke up several times to check on him, and he was sound asleep. In the morning, Dan took him out again before he left for work. He hasn't had a single accident. He is wonderful, and he is just what we needed. Thank you again so much!
Kay R. Lexington SC

Hi Lori: Hope all is well with you and your babies. I look at your website at least once a week. I want them all. Chestnut is doing SUPER!!! He has brought so much joy into our lives since losing Benji. He is the sweetest dog you could ever meet and so well behaved. He loves to cuddle and we take him everywhere we can to show him off. Everyone that meets him falls in love with him. I just wanted to know where did you purchase the chew that you sent with him. He has chewed on and off since we brought him home. When it got down to his mouth size I threw it away. I have looked several places, but have been unable to find any like that one. I did purchase some rawhide square chews, but don't trust those much.
Thanks!!! And thanks again for Chestnut. My angel from heaven.....

Chico lives in SC
Hey Lori:
Chico is simply adorable and very loving. We are having the time of our lives with him. He rolls all over the carpet and bites his play dog a lot. He has gone to the bathroom several times now. and he is also eating and drinking water. We are so happy he is finally settling down. He apparently does not like his collar. He keeps scratching at it. But Stephanie said you said leave it on him and he will eventually get use to it. He loves to lick us about 200000 times when he gets into his licking mood. He also likes to knaw my fingers. I dont think we could have found a better and more loveable pet. More later.

Joy lives in KY
Hi Lori, i just wanted to let you know that Joy is doing great. I am attaching a video of her at 6 1/2 months doing her three tricks she has learned thus far. I hope you can open it. She is just over 2 lbs. and is as cute as a button! I am thoroughly enjoying her. Thanks a bunch, Mimi

Joy has since learned two new tricks. She can use her paw and pick which hand the treat is in (she gets it right 50% of the time) and she can jump through the tire that your daughter made. I would love for your daughter to see that. I will get a video to you soon. The next trick I am going to try to teach her is to say her prayers by putting her paws over her eyes and bowing her head. That will be a challenging one to teach. She is a little doll and such a good little girl. Thanks for Joy. She was an angel from day 1. Joe and I love her very much. Mimi Lenahan

Joy is all dressed up for the holidays. Doesn't she look grand! What a playful girl, but she loves to snuggle even more. She is such a good girl and never potties anywhere but on her puppy pad. Joy is the perfect purse puppy as she loves to be carried. Leash training, however, is a bit of a challenge. I think we will work on that in the spring time. I want you to know that she has brought much "joy" to Joe and me this holiday season. Thanks for helping make our holiday so "joy"ful! P.S. Joe has given her the nickname of Bug. She is no bigger than one. What a cutie!

Thank you so much for all the helpful information!!!! I will work on things... The pictures of Rommi, are just a couple of snapshots. A friend of mine, who is a photographer keeps promising to take some pictures of Romeo 'soon'. I will share those with you, if it ever happens. Romeo seemed to have stayed in size. He is just a touch smaller than my poodle. Although he is soo very muscular. He's like picking up a lead weight! Probably because he doesn't stop running and jumping all day long. In the one photo I sent he is looking out the window. He does that so much of the time. The other one he is begging for a belly rub & kisses. It's kind of close up, so I hope it doesn't come out distorted, on your end. I'll have to send you a photo of him standing, so you can get and idea of his size. His coat ..yikes, he is a woolly bear. Take care Wanda

Hi Lori, I had to smile when you I read your e-mail !! Romeo seems to definitely take after his mommy in personality...he is so clever it's fascinating to watch sometimes. I can "always" see the wheels turning in his little brain, trying to figure out, how he's gonna con me in a hundred different ways to get what he wants. He's so subtle about it also. Half the time I don't know I've been smooshed, until way after the fact. I love Romeo sooo much!!! Princess and him have also built some sort of a relationship. They argue sometimes, they play sometimes, they sleep side by side once in awhile. I'm positive you must think I'm a crazy lady by now. Thank you for your support and understanding--throughout!!! ! I really can't imagine my life without my special little Romeo. He certainly makes everyday an adventure!!! Have a wonderful holiday, Wanda

Hi Lori, We absolutely love and adore Twinkle. He is running around the house and actually playing with some of the toys we bought her which is so great. Mykayla is having the greatest time playing with him. I will take pictures tomorrow and send them so you can see how he is doing. We can't thank you enough for this ball of happiness that has entered our home. Thank you, Joanne

Anywho, Olive is doing very well - she is very playful and loves exploring everything, she is gaining weight and growing . Attached are some cute photos and I promise to send more when she gets bigger! Thanks for everything; Olive is perfect. :) Ellen Rowe

Lori, I'm so glad to hear from you. I want to tell you how much we love Isabella, ie. Poinsettia. She is six months old now and she's very friendly and playful. Izzy and our Australian Shepard get along great. Izzy doesn't bark at all unless she's playing. She has learned to sit on command and walk on a leash. We just love her.

Lori, Been meaning to write you an eml for some time. Have been hoping that I could get a picture to send you with the email---but alas,no picture. Aster is doing great. He settled right in. He and Nicky (our Poodle) are great friends and have a great time playing together - and with the cats. Nicky is a very social dog. Aster has learned from Nicky even though he will never be as social. Both are very protective but do not bite. They mostly bark. Aster is a joy to have. He sleeps with me every night and both are always under my heels. You were right when you said he was lease trained. He loves to go for walks and it is easier to walk both dogs than I thought it would be. Where one goes the other goes - even to ride. Good thing they are well behaved and trained. Thanks ever so much for Aster. Anne and Amy Shepherd
